Camp Owaissa Bauer is a special activity area of the Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department designed to offer overnight and extended camping for groups of 26 ? 160 people. The camp is available to organized groups up to one year in advance. Only one group at a time can rent the facilities, your group will have exclusive use of the grounds. The public is not allowed on the grounds while a group is in camp.

Facilities include a large, newly upgraded air conditioned dining hall with a seating capacity of 154 people. The dining hall is connected to a fully equipped commercial style kitchen. Other indoor facilities include a meeting room with a seating capacity of 30 ? 40 people and recreation patio with two ping pong tables (if desired) and benches. The bath house separate Men?s and Women?s multi-stall restrooms and showers as well as separate Men?s and Women?s ADA accessible restrooms and showers. Outdoor features include a campfire circle, hayrides, large playing fields with shade shelters, basketball and volleyball courts and a large swimming pool (35? x 75?, 3? ? 8? depth)
