Camp Bauercrest is a traditional overnight sports camp for Jewish boys located in Amesbury, Massachusetts, about 40 miles north of Boston, on the shores of beautiful Lake Attitash. We are a non-profit camp, led by an independent Board of Directors. The camp was founded in 1931. Bauercrest offers a safe, enjoyable and meaningful camping experience for every camper. Our goal is to build a boy?s identity and self-esteem through the commonly held values of Sportsmanship, Teamwork, Achievement and Responsibility (our S.T.A.R. principles). Our Facilities include: Competition Swimming Pool, 6 lanes and racing blocks, also designed for swim instruction and recreational swim/aquatics activities; Beautiful Beachfront on Lake Attitash with two waterski boats, canoes, kayaks, Sunfish sailboats, and fishing equipment; Spacious Gymnasium/Rec Hall (Contains One Regulation-Size or Two Partitioned Basketball Courts and Stage for Performances/Special Events); Illuminated Softball Field; Illuminated Soccer Field and Additional Soccer Field on Lower Camp; Five Illuminated Tennis Courts; Media Room for digital video and photography, internet connectivity for streaming; Large Dining Hall; and lots more!
